Today I am featuring the home of Alison from the blog Deuce Cities Henhouse. Here is what she says she loves most about here modern home.
The thing I love most about my home is the front porch. In the summer we (myself, my husband and my two boys) spend all of our free time watching the neighborhood go by on the front porch. Every fall we go through a mourning period, when the cold weather comes and forces us indoors. We've decorated the porch to reflect a concept I call "Urban Cabin". One of our favorite places in the world is a cabin we visit frequently in northern Minnesota, it's full of knotty pine and vintage touches. We tried to give our porch that signature cabin feel, while incorporating it into the style of our home.
Enjoy!
